Our Zara Black Friday 2020 Sale Predictions
Just like we’ve seen for the last six years in a row, you can expect Zara to once again bring back a huge Black Friday sale early starting in the last afternoon on Thanksgiving day. Last year it was 50% off select items but in the year’s before that it’s been 30% off site-wide and store-wide. No coupon is typically needed, the discount is taken at the register during checkout. You can expect to see something similar return for one day only.
One thing to keep in mind is that Zara’s Black Friday sale is usually very popular and as it is every year, their most popular items/sizes tend to sell out quickly. So if you plan on shopping online or in-stores then we recommend getting there early. But either way you’ll have to be quick because the sale is typically only valid for around 24 hours or so.
Expected Sale Start/End Times
Zara has been pretty much consistent with their Black Friday start and end times these last few years. Here’s what we’re expecting:
- Rumored start time: Thursday November 26, 2020 at 8:00pm EST / 5:00pm PST online and in stores when they open on Friday morning (scroll down the page to see last year’s early opening store hours). But if you had Zara’s app on your phone or tablet the you were given 1-hour early access to the sale when shopping online (starting 7:00pm EST). Due to the time change, in Europe the sale begins on Friday November 27, 2020 at 2:00am online (or 1:00am with the app) and in-stores when they open later on Friday morning.
- Rumored end time: Friday November 27, 2020 at local store closing time. Online, the sale is expected to end at midnight PST.
What Are The Important Exclusions?
As always, some items may be excluded. That usually includes any non-clothing related items not in their current collection (i.e. gift cards, express shipping charges, etc.). Their Black Friday ads don’t usually include any terms so there’s usually no unexpected surprises.
Where To Shop?
You’ll be able to shop the sale at zara.com or your nearest store. For those of you in the U.S., all locations were closed on Thanksgiving day but opened earlier that normal on Friday. We’ve posted last year’s opening times below — We’re expecting the same hours here in 2020 as well.
In UK and across Europe we found that most Zara stores operated as usual on Black Friday with most locations opening at 10:00am local time. Although this may vary by country.
Last Year’s Ad Scan/Flyer
Although there’s not much more to see, we’ve included last year’s Black Friday ad from Zara for your reference. It usually hits our inbox in the morning on Thanksgiving day (if you’re joined to their newsletter then you probably see it too!).
